Connect-to-NatureTuesday Evenings for Free at the Gateway Heliport Art GalleryJoin Nisa Nature and Neil Joffe at the Gateway Heliport Art Gallery for a family Connect-to-Nature workshop through the expressive arts—music, movement, and painting/drawing.Nisa Nature draws on sacred traditions from North and South America, Celtic traditions, Vedic knowledge, and her own personal Joy in connecting to the animal, plant, and mineral kingdoms. Nisa also teaches ways of honoring and taking care of Ourselves and the Earth as we sing, dance, discover, and create.Neil Joffe is a painter steeped in the Shamanic traditions of South Africa, and encourages the use of free and individualistic expression in the paintings of all participants.The workshops occur most Tuesday evenings from 5-7 PM for adults and children in a fun, fluid, creative atmosphere. the Gateway Heliport Art Gallery is located at 8001 Kennett St., Silver Spring, MD, 20910Call 240-421-1448 to speak with Nisa.
